NANETS Regional NET Education: The Multidisciplinary Management of NET Cancers

The NANETS Regional NET Education:The Multidisciplinary Management of NET Cancers will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Check-in is at 7:30 am, and the final session is scheduled to conclude at 4:30 pm.

This comprehensive, one-day program is offered in conjunction with Huntsman Cancer Institute and Intermountain Healthcare. It will provide multidisciplinary training to medical professionals in Salt Lake City and the surrounding areas. Local physicians and allied healthcare providers come together with leaders in neuroendocrine medicine to educate and discuss NET disease and patient care. Participants will learn about standard management of patients with neuroendocrine tumors, as well as new diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of University of Utah and the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society. The University of Utah is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Utah School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

All attendees are encouraged to use the CME system to claim their attendance. Physicians will be awarded AMA PRA Category 1 creditsTM; all other professions will be awarded attendance at a CME event credit that they may use for their re-credentialing purposes. Nurses seeking contact hours must claim through the CME system. All users will be able to print or save certificates. For questions regarding the CME system, please contact the UUCME Office. Target Audience: 

Primary care physicians, general medicine, specialty physicians including oncology, radiology, nuclear medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and pulmonology, physician assistants, nurses, and nurse practitioners.


Participants will be able to identify and explain the most recent scientific developments and available treatments for NET patients and demonstrate this understanding when working to develop a treatment plan for NET patients.
