Joseph Dillon, MD

Dr. Dillon is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Iowa College of Medicine.
After earning his medical degree from the National University of Ireland, Dr. Dillon completed residencies in medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin, and the University of British Columbia. He completed a fellowship in clinical endocrinology at McGill University, and research fellowships at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and Tufts University, Boston.
Dr. Dillon’s clinical and research efforts focus on the therapy of patients with all forms of neuroendocrine tumors. He is the co-director of the Neuroendocrine Tumor Clinic and Quality Control and Safety officer of the NIH SPORE at University of Iowa.
