Chadwick Wright, MD, PhD
Dr. Wright is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and James Cancer Center.
After earning his MD and PhD from The Ohio State University, Dr. Wright was a Diagnostic Radiology resident at Ohio State. He completed his clinical training with a Nuclear Medicine fellowship at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology/Washington University.
Dr. Wright’s clinical efforts focus on clinical nuclear medicine and targeted radiotherapy. His research interests are focused on the development and assessment of new imaging technologies and imaging agents related to: (1) next generation PET technologies, (2) PET imaging for theranostics, and (3) clinical trials using nuclear medicine methodologies. In particular, he works on novel concepts for Yttrium-90 imaging and the clinical development of a next generation, digital photon counting PET/CT system that is in operation as a pre-commercial release version at the Wright Center of Innovation in Biomedical Imaging at OSU. Dr. Wright also actively participates in the imaging core lab for IROC Ohio (Imaging and Radiation Oncology Cooperative) for the NCI NCTN.
Dr. Wright is a member of the American College of Radiology and American College of Nuclear Medicine. He serves on several committees of the Society of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging. Dr. Wright is the Nuclear Medicine Subcommittee Chair for the Scientific Program Committee for the Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting. He also serves as the Imaging Chair for the SWOG Lung committee and as Liaison for the SWOG Imaging committee.
